Day 1

After a long and tiring journey we arrived at our hotel around 8pm local time. Everyone was excited for the following days skiing but no one had any trouble sleeping!

Day 2

first day on the mountain. After an early start we headed up to White Face Mountain. Everyone was kitted out with their skiing equipment and sorted into their different ski groups. For some it was a steep learning curve but everyone made excellent progress as the day went on.

After a successful day we returned back to the hotel for our evening meal and pupils had the opportunity to look around the town.

Day 3
We woke up to  fresh foot of snow and the snow continued to fall all day. Most pupils managed to adjust to these conditions and skied a variety of different slopes. An enjoyable day was had by all at the ski resort.

In the evening pupils visited the Olympic centre where they watched a ice hockey final and women's figure skating. This was followed by the world renowned ski quiz which brought out everyone's competitive spirit.

Day 4

A beautiful sunny day and more fresh powder on the slopes. Clear skies and crisp conditions made for a perfect days skiing.  Everyone has made excellent progress and is excited for the next days skiing.

In the evening we attended evening mass at St Agnes Catholic Church followed by an extremely cold but very enjoyable toboggan ride.

More updates to follow over the next few days.
